The students of PGSEM are organizing the Graduation Dinner on Mar 23,2008 (Sunday) for the PGSEM students who are passing this year. The students would greatly benefit from your advice as they walk out with their degrees. The gathering would primarily consist of the PGSEM students who are passing this year, their families as well as few of the current students, faculty and staff of IIMB.

Brief Profile: Mr. Jay Ruparel  

 

Jay Ruparel is the co-founder-promoter of Azure Knowledge Center, the largest KPO and BPO of Gujarat with 2100 employees across its 4 centers in Ahmedabad and 1 center each in Guangzhou and Philadelphia, providing Financial Services, Knowledge Services, Customer Interaction services and IT services to Fortune 500 companies. He currently serves as the Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer at Azure.

Jay is an Electronics & Communications Engineer with a Post-graduate Diploma in Software Enterprise Management from IIM, Bangalore. He has worked as Sr. Project Manager with Infosys Technologies in Bangalore for 4 years and with Bell Labs in Boston, prior to starting Azure Knowledge Center. 

Jay is currently on the Board of Advisors of the Entrepreneurship Development Center at MICA and also on the Board of Advisors of AIESEC. He has been a visiting faculty at Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA) and Nirma University. He is an executive member of the ESOMAR, CASRO and MRSI and has presented white-papers and articles at leading international symposiums and conferences. His recent paper on Customer Centric Contact Center Management practice was awarded the best paper as a part of the Customer Responsiveness Awards adjudged by Ernst & Young and AC Nielsen.

He has been invited by industry bodies like FICCI, Nasscom and CII to address audiences at various national and international conferences.
