As part of its drive to foster Excellence through Partnerships, IIM Bangalore launched the Post Graduate Program in Software Enterprise Management in the year 1998 at its Bangalore campus. With more than ten years of experience running and fine-tuning the program to cater to the changing needs of the industry, PGSEM endeavors to provide the most current executive general management education to middle and senior professionals of the software and information technology industry who seek to pursue a career in management.

The program aims to transform professionals with strong technical knowledge to business leaders with equally strong management knowledge and a global perspective. IIMB is proud to have partnered the Indian software and information technology industry on its journey to becoming a dominant force in the global market.

This year PGSEM is commemorating its tenth anniversary. The journey so far has been memorable with the program in its first ten years providing strong pipeline for the next line of industry leadership. The program has helped in unleashing the entrepreneurial potential with its alumni instrumental in a number of the successful ventures in last few years. The program has also been very effective in providing thought leadership through case studies and academic projects focused at the software industry.

LCube provides a platform for a holistic interaction between current students, alumni, faculty and industry on the central theme of Leadership. It is also an opportunity to engage with the visionaries who have helped PGSEM reach the current level of excellence and design the roadmap for next ten years.
